Social Media & Content Marketing Manager

We’re seeking a passionate Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to join our Digital Marketing team. This person will be the full-time role will report to and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Digital Marketing. The ability to be both creative and strategic is a must—together with an entrepreneurial attitude. A strong background in video content production is highly desired. If you have a portfolio or a short-list of previously executed social campaigns, please include in your application.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Plan, develop and execute all social strategy and content across existing and emerging channels and apps including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest
  • Spearhead the visual ideation, manage a multiplatform calendar, produce shoots and post daily
  • Drive ideation, execution and dissemination strategy for multipurpose video content
  • Manage communication with the Universal Standard social community
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Production team to ensure Social supports major product launches and editorial campaigns
  • Understand and strategize dynamic social KPIs that meet business goals
  • Develop social metrics’ reporting structure, lead hind-sighting, and regularly communicate insights to team
  • Grow and leverage relationships with social platforms, potential influencers/partners, and photographers
  • Spearhead social shopping, and keep abreast of all social trends, especially within the fashion and e-commerce space

ROLE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experienced in a Social Media/Content Marketing role, ideally in fashion/e-commerce
  • Proven track record implementing social strategy and executing original content for multi-platforms day-to-day and at a campaign level
  • Strong visual eye that will translate to, and push forward, the Universal Standard brand identity (Photoshop and photography skills a plus)
  • Pre-existing relationships with social media platforms, potential partners/influencers, designers and photographers a plus
  • Experience with iMovie, Quicktime, and Final Cut
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced startup environment
  • A can-do and collaborative approach to ideation and execution
