Showroom Stylist

Location: Greater Seattle Area

We are seeking a Showroom Stylist to contribute to a customer-centric environment through representing the brand and elevating the customer experience in the showroom. The stylist will curate a compelling customer experience through brand education, one-on-one styling appointments, and establishing lasting connections with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Coordinate and help manage showroom appointments
  • Help run an efficient, sales-driven and customer-focused retail environment
  • Be the eyes and ears – report back on improvements towards optimizing sales and the customer experience
  • Provide a great experience to guests in the showroom, field questions and provide upbeat, empathetic customer assistance
  • Communicate Universal Standard values and ethos to customers
  • Cultivate and support an environment of genuine customer connection
  • Help with merchandising and inventory management of the showroom
  • Act as a brand ambassador reflective of the company values and aesthetic
  • Create a personal styling experience that provides individual attention and engagement
  • Build a relationship of trust and honesty to provide an unimagined experience
  • Facilitate customer correspondence and appointment setting
  • Foster ongoing relationships through:
    • Outreach & networking
    • Appointment generation
    • Service follow-up when necessary
  • Communicate trends, support brand messaging, and inspire the customer
  • Provide insight in relationship to the customer experience and communicates information for brand benefit
  • Build and maintain productive partnerships
  • Assist in Seattle based projects as needed to support the marketing team
  • Interact with fashion publications regarding pulls for shoots (monitoring incoming and outgoing pieces)
  • Take charge of office communications in terms of calls and other general inquiries

ROLE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement  - Autonomous, self-managed and resourceful
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to juggle multiple tasks while quickly adapting to new situations
  • Ability to work on weekends
  • Understanding of how the showroom impacts the business and the customer experience
  • Be an extremely organized self-starter
  • Focus on individual goal-setting
  • Serve as an inspiration and set a strong example for elevated service and styling
  • Take responsibility for individual development and professional growth
  • Be self-aware and focused on self-development
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong assessment and decision-making skills when it comes to customer service
  • Be entrepreneurial, take smart risks with measurable results, always be generating new ideas for showroom events
  • Is prepared to go to any necessary lengths to make the customer experience wonderful
